Privacy
RunCadence is offline-first. Every run, record, and preference is written to your browser’s local storage on the device you are using right now. None of it is transmitted, syndicated, or shared.
What we store on your device
- Runs you log (date, distance, duration, effort, notes)
- Goal settings (yearly distance or run count, weekly target, optional race goal)
- Personal records and streaks computed from your runs
- UI preferences (locale, last trend-lab range)
What we never collect
- Names, emails, phone numbers, or any identity data
- Analytics events, click traces, or session recordings
- Crash reports or error telemetry
- Location data (the app does not use GPS)
Exporting and deleting your data
Settings → Export downloads a JSON or CSV copy of every run. Settings → Danger zone → Clear all removes everything. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser storage has the same effect.
Third-party requests the app makes
When the page loads, your browser requests web fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and a privacy-respecting page-view ping from a.cktz.de (the self-hosted Umami instance, with do-not-track honoured). No other network requests are made by the app.
